MoA, FCDO and FAO commit to transforming the agri-food system of Syria

The National Agriculture Strategy of the Syrian Arab Republic 2026-2030 will capitalize on agriculture as the country’s strategic sector to recover from more than fourteen years of crisis. Under the generous patronage of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers of the Syrian Arab Republic, the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) is launching the strategy to guide the development of a coherent, evidence-based and Syrian-led roadmap to restore agricultural livelihoods, strengthen resilience, and transform Syria’s agri-food system.
